Mostly sunny Tuesday ahead with chance of some rain by Wednesday

Some areas will feel a touch of cold in the morning but will feel better in the afternoon. There is some rain in sight.

We are at the point in the year when the mornings in the Hudson Valley can be cooler, but the afternoon hours are mild and pleasant. For much of this week, this will be the case.
Temperatures will cool down to the 40s in some spots overnight, especially toward the Catskills. Our first frost advisory for the season has been issued for Western Ulster County due to a chill settling in.
Scattered clouds move in on Tuesday into Wednesday, as a system tries to move up the coast.
Rain chances are low and scattered, but still possible for Wednesday. This will mainly be the case closer to New York City.
Thursday and Friday are expected to have lots of sun with mild temperatures returning. OVERNIGHT: Clear skies, cool temps. Locations towards the Catskills will trend colder. Lows in the low 40s to mid-50s.
TUESDAY: Mostly sunny to mostly cloudy. Highs: low 70s. Lows: mid-50s.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy with a spotty shower chance. Highs: upper 60s to low 70s. Lows: upper 40s to low 50s.
THURSDAY: PICK OF THE WEEK - Mainly sunny. Highs: upper 70s. Lows: mid-50s.
FRIDAY: Mainly sunny. Highs: low to mid-70s. Lows: low 50s.
